This win inside Warzone’s Gulag might be the most bizarre we have seen thus far during the game’s relatively short existence.
Call of Duty: Warzone brought with it a new element to the battle royale arena — the Gulag. This is a small area in which two downed players compete against one another for the chance to return to the fray. There are various ways players have tried to get the upper-hand in the Gulag, some of which players have been willing to share with others.
Modern Warfare Season Three added a soldier spray to Warzone. Some players have been using the spray to fool a rival in the Gulag into firing at a decoy. That reveals their position and should give the sprayer enough of an advantage to win. In the video below, the player sprays three soldiers on the wall and his opponent is very much fooled.
That’s despite the fact the sprayer then stands alongside his artwork. They then run around the back of the opponent, who still hasn’t turned around despite seeing what they must have assumed was a painting come to life. The sprayer then easily kills the befuddled player to win the Gulag. The weirdest thing of all about the whole thing? Had the defeated party simply gone to the middle of the Gulag, they’d have won.
