This guy has the perfect solution to a pair of riot shield-wielding Warzone players: use explosives. Don’t have any? Then improvise.
Riot shields suck. If you don’t have good aim with a grenade or a handy pouch of C4, then you’re basically forced to retreat or otherwise get a mouthful of steel-reinforced glass. They’re a cheap tactic and nobody likes them–except of course the people using them to bully other players.
Like these two who decided to whip out their shields to bully Reddit user xFahad123. They both managed to find Fahad in the middle of Verdanks with nothing but an assault rifle for defense.
If you’re xFahad123, two riot shielders are a huge problem. You need explosives, or you need to run. Instead, xFahad123 took option C: improvise.
Although xFahad123 didn’t have any grenades or C4 handy, they did have something just as good. Munitions Boxes are normally purchased to restock ammunition and equipment, but they have a secret alternate function as an improvised explosive device. Just throw it on the ground, and instead of walking over it to restock your ammo, shoot it with a few bullets to make it explode.
Which is exactly what xFahad123 did. As the two riot shields approached like monoliths of suck, xFahad123 tossed a munitions box on the ground between them and fired off a few rounds. It was close enough that it took away about half their armor, but it was so close to the riot shielders that it sent them both the Gulag.
