So, you’ve got your Classic World of Warcraft subscription, and it’s time to make that character. You already know what race you’re going to play, but what about your class? Are you new to the game, or are you already aware of the differences between the various classes? It’s too easy to spend too much time putting the finishing touches on your ’toon. Spend more time playing and less time fussing over character creation and let the stars decide.
Certain classes are a better fit for some signs of the zodiac than others, which can provide some guidance if you don’t know what class you should play. Some signs are more prone to thinking than action, for example, which suits some classes more than others. Here are the classes that best suit your astrological sign.
12 Aquarius - Mage
The temperamental and uncompromising Aquarius makes a deadly Mage. Their keen intellect, passion for a cause, and deep personal connections would be an ideal match for this class in general. Other party members depend on the Mage to provide basic consumables like food and water, and the helpful Aquarius is happy to oblige.
11 Aries - DPS Warrior
Those born under the sign of Aries are courageous and enthusiastic people who appreciate physical challenges and leadership roles, which means that they would make perfect DPS Warriors. Being impulsive and impatient, some of this sign’s negative traits, are actually an asset to this aggressive class. If you’re going to start a war, ask an Aries person.
10 Leo - Elemental Shaman
A Shaman with an Elemental spec is always an asset to your party, much like the beautiful and gregarious Leo. Their creativity and passion are also great for a DPS-hybrid class like the versatile Shaman.
Watch those drops, however, as the Leo person loves bright colors and shiny things. Make sure you’ve got a concise plan for sharing loot if one of your companions is a Leo.
9 Cancer - Restoration Druid
Being a Cancer is all about helping your loved ones, enjoying the comforts of home, and keeping the peace. That’s great for any healing class, but it’s especially ideal for the Restoration Druid. Expect the thoughtful and resourceful Cancer Druid to provide your party with buff foods and handy potions in addition to keeping you on your feet.
8 Pisces - Warlock
Warlocks live in two worlds; our own material reality and that other dimension filled with demons and dark magic. That’s why it’s the perfect class for a Pisces to play. A Warlock is powerful but their talents have to be measured with some degree of wisdom and intuitive power, the classic traits of a person born under the sign of Pisces.
7 Scorpio - Shadow Priest
Don’t let this benevolent class fool you in thinking they are always standing in the background throwing healing spells. They are calm, cool, notorious face-melters, and are often placed in leadership roles, connecting them with the astrological sign of Scorpio.
Shadow Priests are powerful characters, known for their deadly prowess in both PVP and PVE. If you are resourceful, assertive, and have an eye for detail, then you might be a Scorpio, and you would make a great Shadow Priest.
6 Taurus - Protection Warrior
Dependable, meticulous, patient, and devoted to their chosen cause, the Protection Warrior and the Tauren sign have a lot in common. They are great planners and protectors, making them the person everyone depends on. The Taurus is also a romantic person who thrives on the affection of others, and Tanks get a lot of love in the game.
5 Sagittarius - Hunter
The freedom-loving, generous Sagittarius can bring a lot to the Hunter class. The image of the bow is an obvious parallel, but there are several other common traits between the Hunter and Sagittarius. Both seem to prefer the great outdoors and freedom to city life and companionship, and the Hunter is often the joker in the party who keeps his friends entertained, much like the astral archer.
4 Gemini - Rogue
A Rogue is a dynamic class that has to be versatile and adaptable, traits that someone born under the sign of Gemini would understand. A Rogue can do a lot of different things and travels extensively throughout Azeroth, which a Gemini would also enjoy.
Rogues have a variety of weapons and other abilities at their disposal, including skills like pickpocketing and poisons. The creative Gemini can also be mysterious, living a double life as the saying goes, very much like the Rogue class.
3 Virgo - Holy Priest
It could be the most critical role in your party, whether you’re fighting beasts in the wilderness or defending your territory in a battleground. You need a healer who’s loyal, practical, and compassionate, who doesn’t mind standing in the background. Virgo people are known for these characteristics. Add in their attention to details and cautious nature and you’ve got a great Holy Priest.
2 Libra - Balance or Feral Druid
If we’re talking about equilibrium, then we have to talk about Libras and Druids. When a Druid is tanking or DPSing, they walk a fine line between drawing too much aggro or not drawing enough. A Libra has an intuitive sense of keeping this delicate balance, and this precise judgment can all that stands between a triumphant victory and a humiliating wipe.
1 Capricorn - Paladin
Capricorns are natural leaders, responsible, disciplined, and grounded in reality. It’s important that a Paladin also possesses these important traits. Your party has to be able to depend on you to stay focused and calm even if it looks like death is immenent, and the Capricorn person can keep it together in the face of adversity.
