Wizkids is bringing you some more WWE tabletop madness later this year with WWE Cage Battle - an action-packed dice-flicking card game aimed at families who dream of demolishing each other in WWE cage matches. Which everyone wants to do, right?
WWE Cage Battle will be bringing that thrill you feel when the iconic steel cage descends onto the ring to the world of tabletop gaming for the very first time. Along with an authentically-WWE Cage Battle ring, the game comes with 16 Superstar cards featuring some of the biggest names in WWE. Each Superstar has their own set of unique custom dice featuring their signature moves to be used against their opponents.
Using the game’s custom dice, build a team of your favorite Superstars to battle it out in the ring, choosing from John Cena (provided you can actually see him), Charlotte Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and more! Take turns flicking your dice at your components’ dice in the ring, imagining that the dice are actually body slamming or knocking each other out of the ring.
To win the round, you’ll need to stun all your opponents’ Superstars or pin them in the corners of the ring. The first player to win three rounds wins the Cage Battle.
WWE Cage Battle includes another game mode too - the Points Battle mode, where points are awarded at the end of each round based on the position of the Superstars left in the ring. The first player to reach 21 points wins!
This isn’t the first tabletop wrestling romp Wizkids has conceptualized. WWE: Headlock, Paper, Scissors is already available right now from the Wizkids web store and independent local game stores for $19.99. WWE Cage Battle is only being unleashed upon us in October this year, but is available now for pre-order for $29,99 from the WizKids website, or via a participating game store near you.
