Pride month is just around the corner and Twitch is inviting you to celebrate it with them as well as celebrate all the LGBTQIA streamers on the platform.

Beginning in June - Pride month - Twitch is going to be streaming the 50th San Francisco Pride, which is going to be an online version to abide by social distancing rules and regulations. By streaming the event, however, it gives the community a chance to interact and be apart of Pride from the comfort of their own homes. Along with streaming the event, Twitch also mentioned that viewers should tune into either twitch.com/sfpride or twitch.com/amazonmusic on June 27th-28th from 2-7pm PT to watch music, drag, dance performances, greetings from LBTQ+ members, and more.

Along with amazing streams and events, Twitch has partnered with designers to create some Pride-themed emotes for you to gain when you either subscribe, gift a sub, or donate at least 300 bits to any channel. Along with these amazing emotes, Twitch is donating up to $300,000 to a charity named, The Trevor Project, which will go towards its “Pride Everywhere” campaign. Twitch will donate $0.10 for every paid sub, gifted sub, or bit donation of 300 and up.

Twitch is also giving viewers the opportunity to get a limited-edition “Play for Pride T-shirt” if they raise over $500 for The Trevor Project using Twitch and through Tiltify. Questions regarding this option should be directed towards charity@twitch.tv, as this email will let you get directly connected with The Trevor Project.

Last, but not least, Twitch encourages its streamers to change their stream titles to include “Stream With Pride” or “#StreamWithPride” in order to raise more awareness for Pride month and to let their viewers know they are celebrating this month. Twitch is also encouraging its streamers and viewers to share themselves using these image templates and to tag #StreamWithPride, in order to further promote the month and highlight those who are celebrating.

Pride month begins on June 1st and goes until June 30th.
