Just in case you didn’t know yet, Cardnarok: Raid With Gods - a Slay the Spire-esque deckbuilding roguelite card game - has been released into Early Access. So you should get on that.
The game was designed by an ex-Blizzard employee along with Greedy Wolf Studios, who wanted to create a game that draws on inspiration from physical tabletop games as well as legendary cardbattler Slay the Spire. But they also wanted to make sure it would stand out from the already-saturated card game market, as mentioned by the studio’s founder Frank Chang:
Cardnarok: Raid With Gods’ focus is on mythology, allowing you to draw on the powers of mythological giants from a range of different cultures including Greek, Egyptian, Chinese, Norse, Hindu, and Japanese.
We hope to develop original gameplay that utilizes a brand new and robust combat system capable of creating expandable combinations and high replayability.
We genuinely believe that we have created something special and unique that players who love the card battler genre should definitely pick up and give a try.
